My clear view is that the purpose of HR is to build people and organisational capabilities to drive strategy and create value for all stakeholders. Through people. Together with people.
This means working closely with the CEO and leadership team on what really matters to the business: growth, execution, and risk mitigation.

I’ve seen how often HR professionals struggle to reach this position. Not because they lack competence or commitment, but because HR and the business operate from different perspectives and mindsets.
